Hello all,
It has been a long while since I wrote on this blog, and I’m hoping to start back up at the pace I used to write.
See, a lot of things have been happening lately (some good, some bad) and the brain has been in a bit of fog.
Quarantine doesn’t help the fog part but I’m forcing myself to break through.
Things I have been doing:
1 – Writing my novel (it is almost done!)
2 – Sewing (protective face masks, mostly)
3 – Working on my upcoming literary magazine Plainville Review
4 – Playing video games. Namely: Animal Crossing New Horizons.
5 – Gardening. Can’t forget gardening.
I’ve also been practicing my baking and cooking skills but that’s not really quarantine related. I really like cooking in general.
I’ve been quarantined since the end of March and it’s starting to feel…normal. Maybe this is a weird case of Covid-19-induced Stockholm syndrome. Either way, honestly, it’s not too bad but I hate it all the same. (There’s my obligatory words for the history books. Historians love the primary sources.)
Tip for the creatives out there struggling to make it work: work in 10-15 minute sprints.
All in all, hope all is well. I will continue to post the kinds of things I used to post. You know, writing tips and the like.
Thanks for reading, and have a good day.
